Cinema Xanadu announces a Special Showing of "Afterlife" on March 6th 2005 Afterlife by Kore-eda Hirokazu tells the story of a group of newly deceased who are given time before they get to their final destination to chose a single memory to take with them into eternity. It's a very spiritual and beautiful film that provokes interesting thoughts about remembering and forgetting.  It is well reviewed at Strictly Film School. (Scroll down the page, it's the second review.) There is a sympathetic account by Roger Ebert (one of America's most reliable film critics) from the Chicago Sun-Times.
